It is not a complete engine anylonger. HISTORY OF THIS ENGINE. Client had twin engines. One was working fine and the other one was not reving over 3K so boat was not planning. We fixed the engine for client. We cleaned injectors, chhanged sparkplugs and so on. Client boat was delivered planning. Few months later both engines started to run only at low rpms. Client reported that engines are not reving over 3K and therefore his heavy boat is not planning. We believe is just the throttle position sensor. We can change it and test and connect engine to computer to check the ECM information. However, we have no way to test in the water at WOT to make sure it is giving 5 to 6K rpm. Therefore we are parting both engine out. What part do you need? Compression is good and balance int he 110 to 120 PSI… Engine hours under 400. We are connecting computer to download report. Power trim and tilt midsection perfectly work. Lower unit perfectly works. Steering arms moves easily side to side. We can also sell propeller, controls, harness, oil tank. Engine cannot have any damages whatsoever in powerhead, midsection, trim tilt, lower unit and accessories. We are taking about one hour test is enough to validate the engine also runs well in the water. MAXIMUM RPM OF THIS ENGINE: 5600 RPM. This engine is designed to rev between 5000 – 5600 at WOT Wide Open Throttle. You must install a propeller with diameter and pitch that matches the combination boat size and type to engine HP in order for the engine to rev between 5000 to 5600 rpm at WOT.
